Die Axiom Group, ein Hersteller von Automobilteilen mit Sitz in Aurora, Ontario, plant eine Axiom Group, an automotive parts molder based in Aurora, Ontario, is undertaking a $12-million expansion of its manufacturing facility in San José Iturbide, Mexico.

The 80,000-square-foot expansion will double the manufacturing space and create additional warehouse capacity for finished goods and raw materials. This reorganization is expected to contribute to a projected doubling of revenue by 2024.

Since its establishment in 2017, Axiom's injection molding plant in San José Iturbide has specialized in producing complex and large components. The company's Mexican Republic subsidiary, known as APG Mexico, has played a crucial role in this expansion. With the expanded facility, Axiom plans to add eight injection molding machines, ranging from 550 to 2,400 tons, enabling the production of 55 tools and 90 different part numbers.

Ananth Pathmanathan, Vice President of Operations at Axiom, emphasized that the expansion aims to enhance their service and technical support for clients. The management team at Axiom Group and the staff at APG Mexico have been instrumental in facilitating this growth.

Axiom, founded in 1987, has engineering centers in Canada, Mexico, and Italy.
