China is now ending the crackdown on the video game industry, which began in August when regulators suspended all video game licenses.

The video game industry is making a comeback in China. This is because the country is allowing 45 new imported games in China, including "Pokémon Unite" from Nintendo. The move marks an end to China's strict video game policy after all foreign games were denied a license since August.
China is a strict case when it comes to video games. Not only when it comes to game time, but also on a legislative level. Every game must first have a license in China before it is allowed to be played in the country.
So the video game industry can breathe a sigh of relief again. Because Tencent and Nintendo in particular could benefit from this easing.
