On Thursday, the heads of Google, Microsoft, OpenAI and Anthropic will meet with Vice President Kamala Harris at the White House. The meeting is expected to address the problems of artificial intelligence and what laws might look like in the industry.

The invitation states that Joe Biden has expectations with companies that products are safe first before they are available to the public.

In the meeting, the risks of AI to workers, national security and to education will be discussed with other senior members of the Biden administration. Accountability will also be addressed at the meeting. Companies should take a personal responsibility to assure that the products they provide are safe.
