BP and Hertz are entering into a strategic partnership together in North America. Both companies will benefit greatly from this.

Hertz and BP will take a step into the green future together. Oil giant BP will build 3,000 charging stations in North America by the end of 2022, with over 90,000 ultra-fast or rapid charging stations to be built by BP worldwide by 2030. These are to be freely accessible to both Hertz customers and the public.

Hertz has also announced that by 2024, a quarter of its entire fleet will be electric, including cars from Tesla, General Motors and Polestar. The charging stations will then be managed by BP.
