Deepened collaboration between Japan and the United States is expected to drive innovation in the fields of artificial intelligence and quantum technology. This significant alliance is anticipated to be captured in the joint statement that both countries will release today.

The United States is actively working to reduce economic dependency on China, particularly within the G7 nations. As part of these efforts, these countries are increasing pressure on China through export restrictions and other measures.

The joint statement may include a detailed roadmap outlining the development of future generations of semiconductors and laying the foundation for extensive collaborations. The Japanese newspaper "Yomiuri Daily" reports on this.

This groundbreaking agreement between the United States and Japan holds great promise for advancements in global chip technology and is expected to have significant implications for the digital industry. It underscores the commitment of both countries to drive technological innovations and maintain their leading positions in the global market.
