Form 4 and 4B: Formlabs Sets New Standards in 3D Printing with Revolutionary SLA Printers.

Formlabs has announced a new addition to its line of Stereolithography (SLA) printers for Additive Manufacturing (AM): the Form 4 and Form 4B. These fourth-generation printers promise improved speed, optimized workflows, and a seamless user experience. The Form 4 and 4B models are designed for general manufacturing and design applications as well as medical and dental applications, respectively. With a range of new materials and Formlabs' new Low Force Display print engine, they enable faster production at a reduced price.
The new SLA printers from Formlabs are equipped with an LCD screen capable of curing an entire layer of photopolymer material at once, resulting in significantly faster print speeds. This marks a significant change in SLA technology and allows Formlabs to compete with faster and more affordable competitors.

The Form 4 and 4B are compatible with over 23 currently available resins from Formlabs and also offer new resins for faster production and solutions specifically tailored to dental applications. Formlabs' CEO and co-founder, Max Lobovsky, describes the Form 4 as a "major advancement not only for Formlabs and our customers but also for the entire 3D printing world."
In terms of user-friendliness, Formlabs emphasizes that anyone can learn to use the Form 4/B in about 15 minutes, making it particularly attractive to medical and dental professionals. The new printers have already received praise from companies such as Ford, kitchenware manufacturer OXO, and the German dental technology laboratory Kreimer Dentallabor GmbH & Co. KG.
