Paramount reported revenue of $8.13 billion, though $8.16 billion was expected, according to Refinitiv Data. The CBS owner reported a sharp decline in advertising revenue in recent months.
Paramount+ gained 9.9 million subscribers in the last quarter. The main reason for this increase may have been the movie "Top Gun: Maverick." The company will be putting a clear focus on the streaming service.
Prices are being raised accordingly. Instead of $9.99 per month, the subscription now costs $11.99.
