AkvisIO IME by Kistler – Innovative Software for Optimizing Injection Molding Processes.

The AkvisIO IME software enables seamless integration of data analysis into the injection molding process, revolutionizing precision monitoring and synchronization.
The AkvisIO IME software enables seamless integration of data analysis into the injection molding process, revolutionizing precision monitoring and synchronization.

A revolution is underway in the world of injection molding, and Kistler is setting the benchmark with its latest development, the AkvisIO IME software. This innovative solution allows comprehensive visualization and analysis of data from injection molding machines and process monitoring systems such as ComoNeo and ComoScout in real-time and across various processes.

Transparent injection molding processes require not only suitable machines and tools but also in-depth optimization through sensors and continuous production monitoring. This is where AkvisIO IME comes in, enabling customers to manage and analyze data across devices and processes. The software replaces Kistler's previous ComoDataCenter (CDC) and offers a comprehensive analysis function, including automatic data synchronization with all connected systems.

AkvisIO IME not only simplifies the setup and configuration of connected injection molding machines and monitoring systems but also allows seamless synchronization of digital assets such as tool configurations, reference curves, and monitoring objects. The stored data can be cyclically compared and analyzed, providing customers with a reliable data source for all their plastic processing products.

The modular, scalable software solution of AkvisIO is already equipped with numerous analysis features and is continuously expanding. Features include monitoring functions of ComoScout and ComoNeo, as well as working with reference curves. Additional features include cross-cycle trend analysis and statistical process control (SPC) with output of characteristic values for process capability and stability.

The AkvisIO IME data analysis software has been available for the ComoScout process monitoring system since September and will also be available for use with the ComoNeo system starting in January 2024. Users can individually determine the scope of AkvisIO IME, and additional modules, such as trend monitoring with artificial intelligence, will be released over time.

The software offers integrated user management and rights management via the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), leaving nothing to be desired in terms of auditing, data security, and traceability.
