Tencent lays off even more employees

Chinese tech company Tencent is laying off employees once again, according to Reuters.

Tencent will lay off employees. Most affected are employees working in non-essential areas of Tencent, as well as those in content areas. According to the report, some employees have already been laid off.


The reason for the further layoffs are the difficult economic situation in China. Among other things, the situation has been worsened by the Zero Covid Policy. Also, new laws were initiated, which also affect the company.
