Tesla gets into trouble after strict working hours in Germany

After Tesla lowered prices on all models, the manufacturer has come under fire from politicians and unions because employees work long hours and have little time off.

Employees at the Gigafactory in Brandenburg complain of unreasonable working hours and are afraid to speak out about the factory. Now the company is coming under fire from politicians and the German union IG Metall.

IG Metall recently held an annual conference in which it said the supplier had to watch as employees at the factory reported longer hours and had less time off.

Politicians from the SPD to the CDU are now calling for investigations against Tesla, both by Tesla itself and by the local government in Brandenburg.
