Yesterday, many Tesla executives presented the next "master plan". This plan shows that it is possible for the world to be sustainable by 2050. This requires $10 trillion in investments, 30 terrawatts of renewable energy, 240 terrawatt-hours of energy storage, and less than 0.2% of the world's total land area.

Tesla's master plan has few details on how it would achieve these ambitious goals or what data it relied on.

This master plan, the company says, will reduce today's electricity consumption by 50%, since a lot of energy currently is converted into heat. The plan will also allow no human on the planet to have to live in a cold home.

Tesla made regular hints of a new car during the hinting, however only improved production processes were presented, which will allow cost reductions in the future.
