However, there is one small problem: the HomePod has not received an update since its debut in 2020, which is very unattractive for buyers. There are also many contenders in the smart home space.
One of them is Amazon with their Echo Dot, also known as Alexa. This has the same features as the HomePod Mini, but it is available from $40 on Amazon, which is much more attractive for the buyer than the $99 that Apple charges.
