E3 will be fully cancelled

It's a sad day for all gamers: E3 2023 is canceled.

The E3 video game conference for this year is now officially canceled. The reason for this is that many major console and video game developers, such as Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft have distanced themselves from the E3 in the past.

The last E3 that you could physically attend was in 2019. In 2020, it was canceled due to the pandemic and in 2021, it was resumed in digital format. Last year, E3 was also canceled and it is uncertain if there will ever be another E3.

Many companies no longer see the E3 as an attractive way to create customer loyalty. Companies have switched to online formats, such as video announcements, since the pandemic. This way, any flaws in the products can be fixed before the release of the video presentations and no one has to feel embarrassed in front of an audience.
