France's minister Stanislas Guerini says TikTok will be banned on all civil servants' smartphones.

The Minister of Public Services of France wrote today on Twitter that TikTok will be banned on all smartphones of civil servants. The decision was made because the platform does not meet the requirements of privacy and data use of the government. Exceptions are made only to accounts which inform the public about political decisions.

France is another country that bans civil servants from having TikTok. Last week, TikTok was banned for parliamentarians by UK, Belgium, Netherlands and New Zealand. The EU has also made this decision.
